BEAR GRYLLS STATEMENT ABOUT THE NEW SURVIVAL ECO SERIES
LIMITED EDITION
In the last 500 years, the oceans have suffered fewer extinctions than on land - at least that we know of. According to recent research, 15 animals are known to have vanished forever from the oceans since the 1500s, and many without ever being photographed. This underscores that there is no planet B.
500 years, 15 animals, 1500s... each of these important numbers has led us to the decision to produce only a limited edition with 1,500 pieces.

100% RECYCLED MATERIALS
ABOUT #TIDE
#tide ocean material® is made from 100% ocean-bound plastic, developed in partnership with Swiss scientists. On five islands in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Thailand, local fishermen are being trained and paid to gather and sort plastic waste. This material is registered, washed, shredded and turned into a granular material that can be injected or spun into a yarn. #tide has just launched a third product: Filament that can be used for 3D-Printing.
