ICE-SAR Arctic
We are an official partner of ICE-SAR, the Icelandic Association for Search and Rescue. Alongside ice, extreme rainfall, and strong winds, ICE-SAR also has to contend with limited visibility due to reduced daylight, as Iceland remains partially and even completely dark for several months during the winter. Under these conditions, our Luminox watches and their unique self-powered illumination system, which can shine continuously for up to 25 years, have become an essential piece of equipment, helping ICE-SAR to succeed in their missions.
