FEATURES

Calculate walking speed

Using a Bear Grylls Survival LAND series watch, you can calculate your approximate average walking/hiking speed in an hour.

To calculate, start with the second hand at the 12 and walk 164ft. When you reach that distance, the number that the second hand is pointing to on the bezel is your approx. walking speed.

PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that you measure how many steps you personally need to walk 164 ft, prior to beginning your calculation (since you probably won't have a tape measure handy in a survival situation).

Paracord strap

This adventure accessory is a multitasker! Paracord strap has evolved from pioneering watchstrap to stand-alone travel tool, and is handwoven from superior strength nylon cord used in parachute suspension lines. When unravelled, the paracord strap has a total length of approx. 80 centimeters (0.8 meters), and the woven strands can resist a charge of up to 250 kilograms

Luminox LIGHT TECHNOLOGY

The unique Luminox Light Technology (LLT) ensures at-a-glance visibility - in fact, the technology provides a constant glow 24/7, no matter what the conditions are, for up to 25 years. The self-powered illumination system utilizes tiny micro tritium gas tubes to create ultimate visibility in complete darkness.

CHRONOGRAPH

This timing function is separate from the main time-telling function of the watch can be used to record events and operated by two pushers on either side of the crown. The top pusher can be used to start/stop the timer and the bottom can be used to reset the timer. This stopwatch can be used as a reliable tool in various survival situations...remember: EVERY SECOND COUNTS.
